ABOUT THE AUTHOR GODFREY HARRIS has been a public policy consultant based in Los Angeles, California, since 1968. He began consulting after brief careers as a university lecturer, U.S. Army intelligence officer, foreign service officer with the Department of State, and organizational specialist in the President’s Executive Office. Both before and as President of Harris/Ragan Management Group, he has been called upon to acquire gifts—individually and in bulk—for clients, staff and family. As a result, he developed many of the theories and systems in this book and tested them over the years. This is the 44th book he has written or co-authored. He holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
