ABOUT THE AUTHOR GODFREY HARRIS has been a public policy consultant based in Los Angeles, California, since 1968. He began consulting after brief careers as a university lecturer, U.S. Army intelligence officer, foreign service officer with the Department of State, and organizational specialist in the President’s Executive Office. Both before and as President of Harris/Ragan Management Group, he has been called upon to coordinate hundreds of projects, from purchasing a water pump for a Panamanian client to planning the 500th Anniversary of the Founding of the New World by Christopher Columbus. This is the 39th book he has written or co-authored. He holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
